THE CURRENT OF 2

At that moment in time,
1+1 equilled the right 2
I belonged 2 you
completely, utterly
and 2 no one else
You could have asked me anything,
all walls were tumbled down
all cells desire driven.

But then
I hear you ask
Where 2 now,
My friend,
my lover,
my soul companion ?
I dare not speak
as I lay in your arms
for I am not ready 2 hear
my own unconvincing answers.
Thus, I close my eyes
and simply drift
in the current of us

I am suspended between 2 worlds
floating on the murcy waters
of a nameless love

In the distance I begin 2 see
the faces of a loving wife
and 2 dear beloved children

but the current of us is also
undeniable
undieable real

the only question is

should it move us closer
or drift us wild and wide apart ?
